Isabella Vassallo is a queer, Italian-Australian actor and singer passionate about inclusive storytelling that uplifts underrepresented voices. A graduate of the prestigious Flinders University Drama Centre, Isabella brings a multi-disciplinary and collaborative focus to her work across both stage and screen.
Her theatre credits include Spring Awakening, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and Blood Wedding, where she also co-created original music and score, serving as Music Captain on the production. On screen, Isabella has taken on leading roles in Views, Eden, and —most notably—Kinderspiel, directed by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Brendon Mcdonall.
She has also directed and co-created short films including SWIM and Cats for Lunch, continuing to explore storytelling from both sides of the camera.
With a background in devising, Estill voice work, Meisner technique, and musical theatre, Isabella is drawn to work that is bold, heartfelt, and deeply human.
