Notes

Isabel is an award-winning, trained Australian actor and filmmaker originally from the Gold Coast. Some of her characters include an angsty goth mortician in the comedy series Killa Kafe (Best Ensemble at Miami Web Fest), a Harvard student turned psychopathic killer in the award-winning thriller feature Ravenswood, and an intelligent teacher of delinquents in the play The Spoils by Jesse Eisenberg, for which she received excellent reviews. She won several Best Actress awards for her psychological drama film "Rapid" across the globe (prod, dir, writer, lead). Isabel has a background in swimming, sports (netball, water polo), running, photography, voice over, writing, speech & drama teaching, barista, and standardised patient work. BLACKROCK REVIEW: THEATRETRAVELS 2025: "However, the performance that had me in awe was Isabel Dickson’s portrayal of Tiffany. Tiffany is a difficult character to play - filled with internalised misogyny, she has been convinced of her place in society. It is difficult to imagine today, but many previous productions would turn this character into comic relief (perhaps that says something about how we perceived “the slut” stereotype then and now). Dickson’s performance is heartwrenching - from Tiffany’s need to overdrink, to her inability to place blame where it deserves, it’s difficult not being able to reach out and ask “can I help?” Her final scene was a gut-punch."
