She has performed in ATYP’s production of 'Intersection 2019: Arrival' at the Griffin Theatre, and three works with Little Eggs Collective: 'Pinocchio', 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner', and 'Symphony Fantastique', the latter of which she also worked on as Movement Director. While at NIDA, Grace performed in productions 'How I Learned to Drive', 'Blood Wedding', 'Scenes from an Execution', 'All My Sons', 'Measure for Measure' and 'The Cherry Orchard'. In 2022, Grace was awarded the Keith Bain OAM Award for Movement upon graduating from NIDA. In September this year, her debut play 'Sex, Drugs, Success' was presented as part of the New Works Festival Readings at the Old Fitz. Grace founded December Theatre Co., which launched its debut production 'Port' by Simon Stephens at KXT on Broadway this year. THEATRE REVIEWS - Port (2025) Theatre Thoughts “Throughout, Stamnas’ Rachael feels fully lived in. From a young, almost-teen sitting in a car, terrorising her younger brother, there’s an eerie sense of foundational building at play. It’s not until we come back to this same location at the play’s end that we see a full-bodied woman sitting before us. You feel like you know Rachael, that you could see her in the bottleneck bar afterwards for a pint.” Australian Arts Review “Stamnas is captivating as she ages from the self-assured adolescent though her teenage years to her point of realisation, all the while propelled by her boundless energy and connectivity.” Theatre Red “But it’s Racheal’s play, and Grace Stamnas gives a performance that’s entirely engaging – astonishing in its range, yet always mysteriously, evocatively, (and appropriately) incomplete.” Theatre Now “Dialect coach Patrick Klavins certainly had his work cut out for him with such a strong accent, but the cast, and in particular, Grace Stamnas as Rachael, were spot on, transporting us up to north England.” Limelight “Thanks to the quality of Stephens’ writing – and a fine performance from Grace Stamnas – we can’t help but root for her… In a showcase role, a radiant Stamnas grows up on stage very convincingly…” Suzy Goes See “Grace Stamnas takes on the role of Racheal with striking focus and confidence, lending the production a self-assurance that propels its brisk momentum.” Stage Noise “Grace Stamnas gives a strong, sustained, and nuanced performance as Racheal from 11 to 24” AWARDS WINNER 2022 Keith Bain OAM Award for Movement WINNER Sydney Theatre Awards - 2021 Best Independent Production, 'Symphonie Fantastique', Little Eggs Collective in association with KXT.
