Felix Star (they/them) is a performer and creative in their final year studying Music Theatre at the Victorian College of The Arts (VCA). Previously they trained full-time at SHOWFIT under the tutelage of Scott Johnson, Katherine Tonkin and Matthew Frank. Felix’s professional theatre and screen career began at a young age; credits include Tobi and Jeremy understudy in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ (dir. Roger Hodgman), Fleance and Son of MacDuff in ‘Macbeth’ (dir. Michael Attenborough), Kurt in ‘The Sound of Music’ (dir. Anton Luitingh), Freddo in ‘Molly’ (dir. Kevin Carlin) and Angus in ‘The InBESTigators’ (dir. Wayne Hope). At VCA, Felix had the honour to perform in the ensemble of ‘Heathers’ (dir. Alister Smith), Otto in ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Petra Kalive), Randy & Dance Captain ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman). When they are not on stage or in front of the camera, Felix can be found plucking the strings of their cello or at their keyboard, avidly writing music and creating theatre.
