Emilia Maria Kyprianou is a Melbourne-based artist and recent Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts. With Italian, Croatian, and Greek Cypriot roots, her work is deeply influenced by her rich cultural background. Emilia has trained in contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap, Latin, and musical theatre as well as acting. Emilia was awarded a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York in 2017—a pivotal moment in her artistic journey. She has worked with leading professionals in the artistic space and continues to explore her Acting and Music Theatre journey. Passionate about cross-disciplinary work, Emilia aims to merge her cultural heritage with her creative practices and hopes to inspire through her art.
