Ella Watkins studied acting at REACT drama school and Cooper Screen Academy throughout high school, participating in regular short courses at NIDA. At 17 Ella graduated and left home to study French at the Alliance Française (Paris), and classical Oil Painting at Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 2013 she participated in the 10 Week immersion course in Los Angeles through The Australian Film and Television Academy. She remained in the US where she studied at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and Billy O’leary Acting Studio. Ella has trained with Robert Marchand and actors Andy McPhee and Kendal Rae. Since relocating to Melbourne in 2015, Ella has appeared in almost 30 short films and undertaken various programs at 16th Street. This year she will be appearing opposite comedian Luke McGregor as her character ‘Stephanie’ in episode 7 of ABC-TV’s series ‘Rosehaven’.
