Notes

Dual Australian and UK citizenship Sophie Peppernell (she/her) is an actor based on Wangal/Gadigal land in Sydney. Recent credits include solo show, 'Pastabate' at Sydney Fringe Festival 2022, Parish Malfitano’s horror feature film ‘Salt Along The Tongue’ and Chris Aronsten's short film 'Fanny Scat Investigates' which recently premiered at Queer Screen Film Festival 2023. Sophie has appeared in numerous TV commercials for brands such as Smith's Chips and Macquarie University. She trained with renowned coaches Lisa Robertson, Kevin Jackson and Donald Woodburn. Sophie is an avid writer and creator. For her graduation showcase at The HubStudio (Acting Ensemble 2022) she wrote and performed her own monologue titled 'Pasta' and is also currently creating her own comedy skits online. Reviews: "Dani Hayek’s naughty (and cunningly insightful) script is brought to life by a wonderfully fun “stages of relationship grief” performance by a terrific Sophie Peppernell. The actor relishes both the dialogue and physical comedy the writer provides. Memorable, nutty, marvellous and brill entertainment." - Chuck Moore Reviews ('Pastabate' - Sydney Fringe Festival 2022) "Sophie Peppernell as Beth beautifully utilises her solo vignettes, bringing out history and complexity of character. Her frustration is almost palpable, in her glares, her snarky jabs." - PULP reviews (SAMO Is Dead - Seymour Centre 2019)
