Notes

Darren Eastes is an Australian actor and director. He has performed across iconic TV productions A Place To Call Home, Doctor Doctor and Total Control opposite Abby Earl, Rodger Corser and Deborah Mailman respectively. His Directing debut saw the production of the 2018 short film ‘UNDONE’ and the forthcoming Sci-Fi Short Film production ‘Future Ghosts’ under his ‘Syndicate’ moniker. In front of the camera, Darren has studied with Sydney-staples Les Chantery and Anthony Brandon Wong; covering everything from Screen Auditioning, Screen Technique and the renowned Chubbuck Technique. His early training focused on core teachings of Stanislavsky and Sanford Meisner. Darren Eastes was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa till age nine before immigrating with his family to Brisbane, Australia. The middle child of three, Darren took interest in the arts and creative expression leading to him to producing music, photography and his initial training as an actor. Having made Sydney his base since 2014, he has since enlisted in the Australian Army Reserve, gaining key experiences in combat and weapon handling.
