Bio

Daniel is a Naarm/Melbourne-based director, performer, and award-winning vocal arranger. Eclectically trained, in 2023, Daniel’s directing credits included: co-director and MD of the new Australian musical “Blue to the Horizon” (Sevenfold Theatre), which was nominated by the Green Room Awards for Best Direction in Independent/Fringe Musical Theatre; the AMD of “Legally Blonde” (Waterdale); and the Vocal Director of “Heathers: The Musical” (Out of the Wings).
Additionally, his performing credits included: debut shows at Melbourne International Comedy Festival with Impromptunes, Australia’s leading improvised musical comedy troupe; a chorister in the Victorian premiere of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (OSMaD); and Steven in the Australian premiere of Broadway’s first fully a cappella musical, “In Transit” (Lightbox Productions), harmoniously marrying his love of musical theatre and contemporary a cappella.
An avid a cappella aficionado, and equipped with a decade of vocal harmony expertise, Daniel also currently directs and performs with nationally-acclaimed vocal band, Vocally Owned, and vocal ensemble, Harambee A Cappella.
