Liam Wallis is a Sydney-based actor and director currently undertaking an MFA in Directing at NIDA. Originally from Brisbane, they hold a Bachelor of Acting with Distinction from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and are a Company Actor with shake & stir theatre co. Performance credits include The Laramie Project (Queensland Theatre) as Greg Pierotti, Romeo and Juliet (4MBS) as Mercutio, The Normal Heart (Ad Astra) as Craig Donner, and the lead role of Alex Blake in the web series The Dividing Line (2022). Other theatre credits include Hiding Behind, The Rover, Mr. Burns, His Majesty’s, Night Sky Over Our Town, and Twelfth Night. On screen, Liam stars as Oliver in the short film Appetite of a Nobody. Their training includes stage combat fundamentals with SAFDi (Katana, La Verda Destreza, Sarong, Capoeira) and directing with La Boite Assembly (2022). Liam is passionate about collaborative storytelling, genre experimentation, and character physicality.
