LATEST NEWS: Martha has been represented in the US by Mike Gillespie of BRAVE ARTISTS MANAGEMENT since 2020. In 2021, during lockdown, Martha played "Ruby" opposite Luke Bracey and Susie Porter in Arclight Film's feature film "MERCY ROAD", directed by John Curran. She then went on to play "Young Genevieve" in Matchbox Pictures' series "CLASS OF 07" (starring Emily Browning) in 2022, directed by Kacie Anning. Martha also played the role of "Florence" opposite Jeremy Blewitt in THE DAM, directed by Andrew Sully. After being a top 10 finalist in the running to win the CARMEN DUNCAN SCHOLARSHIP with AAFTA in 2021, Martha went on to win the next scholarship in 2022. "GRACE": Martha was nominated for BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS in a Short Film at the London International Filmmaker Festival 2019 for her role of Emily in "Grace". The film also screened on opening night at the 2018 ST KILDA FILM FESTIVAL as well as at FLICKERFEST 2018 and CAMBRIDGE FILM FESTIVAL 2017. The film's director, Alex Holmes and producer Kristina Ceyton called Martha a "one-take-wonder". Alex described her as "one of the most naturally gifted child actors" he had come across and commented on her understanding and comprehension of the project and his direction. Alex felt that Martha had "rare abilities for someone her age" and a "uniquely striking screen presence", "with no hint of self awareness". Alex described Martha's performance as authentic and honest, unlike someone who has been "taught tricks in a drama class". Causeway Films producers called her "outstanding". "RESPECT" On her first day of filming the above Federal Government "Respect" domestic violence TVC (which involved stunt work), 2018 ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATED director, Derin Seale commented that Martha was "intelligent" and "a natural". Derin complimented her on the way she remained focused for the entire 8-hour shoot (for which she was required for every scene). Kate described Martha as one of the most professional actors she had ever worked with (regardless of age) and stated, "I have never come across another child actor with the same degree of natural talent". According to Kate, Martha is "a rare talent and a lovely, intriguing and easy person to deal with", "an asset to the cast" and "a pleasure to direct". She is currently an auditioned drama student at a selective performing arts high school. After many hours on set and on stage, Martha understands the business and is extremely professional. She studied ballet from the age of 3, only hanging up her pointe shoes in 2022, in order to free up her busy schedule. Martha commenced private horse riding lessons at age 7 and is a confident rider. She currently receives weekly private tuition with GRAHAME WARE JNR (of "Performance Livestock") - well known in the film and television industry as a horse master and stunt rider.
