Cordell Horsell developed a profound appreciation for visual storytelling from a young age, actively creating short films throughout his formative years. This early passion naturally transitioned into a dedicated pursuit of acting at the age of 18, when he began undertaking various acting classes to hone his craft. In 2021, Cordell successfully completed an Advanced Diploma in Film and Television Production at the Adelaide College of the Arts. This comprehensive education not only solidified his understanding of filmmaking but also ignited his interest in other areas of film, including directing, writing, and assistant directing. Cordell's professional experience in the film industry is diverse and robust. He has served as a 3rd Assistant Director on feature films and has regularly taken on the role of 1st Assistant Director for numerous short films, music videos, and commercials. Recently, Cordell showcased his versatile talents by both 1st Assistant Directing and starring in the short film 'HUSH,' which won the 2023 48 Hour Film Competition, and went on to screen at Filmapalooza in Lisbon, Portugal. He also delivered a compelling performance as Donald Forrester in the documentary-feature 'The Speedway Murders.'
