Chris Nguyen is a Matilda Award winning, Vietnamese Australian, Brisbane based Actor. He made his debut at Queensland Theatre Company in the 2026 production "The Sapphires" in the role of Joe, directed by the legendary Wesley Enoch. He can also be seen on the Stan series "Good Cop, Bad Cop", "Dustfall" (Soapbox Pictures) and "Cruel Hands" Belmore Pictures He aims to create truthful and authentic performances. He thrives in both film and theatre and loves to play a range of characters and genres. He believes that every role provides an opportunity for a new challenge that excites and develops him as an actor. As a part of the 2024 production Scenes From A Yellow Peril at Queensland Theatre, as a part of their inaugural Door 3 season, built on platforming Independent Artists, Chris was a part of the ensemble, earning the Matilda's Best Ensemble Award. The production was also awarded Best Independent Production by the Matilda Awards
