Carlo trained at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and received a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, graduating in 2018. Since graduating Carlo has worked all throughout the industry, continuing to train and hone his skills whilst performing in numerous works.
Carlo originated the role of Barry Bagsley in the world premiere of Don’t Call Me Ishmael: The Musical (Underground Broadway), a new Australian work. He also performed in Sweet Charity (Understudy Productions), Wicked (Matt Ward Entertainment) and regionally toured Oh, What A Night (SKS Entertainment). Carlo then spent two years performing to over 200 schools while working with Brainstorm Productions. Most recently, Carlo made his professional theatre debut, opening the new Rebel Theatre, with ATYP’s new Australian Musical, The Deb. Carlo is beyond excited to be joining the cast of Bonnie & Clyde and making his Hayes Theatre debut!
