Milena was born and raised in Brisbane though she often travels to Europe to visit family. Milena’s passion for the performing arts permeated throughout her childhood as she trained extensively in ballet and other accompanying styles. During the Covid lockdown, she tried her hand at playwriting, which cultivated in winning Queensland Theatre’s Young Playwrights Award. Milena went onto study QUT's acclaimed acting degree. In her first year, Milena landed her first professional stage role as Tracy Mudge in Australian Theatre for Young People’s mainstage production of “M.ROCK”, which saw her rehearse and perform full time in Sydney, gaining professional experience while studying. During this time, her writing was published through Playlab for “The monologue Collective”, which was subsequently nominated for a Sydney theatre award, alongside M.ROCK.
In recent years Milena has performed the leading role in a play presented at an arts conference in Florence Italy, stared in an international campaign for Samsung, and lead two back-to-back mainstage performances across various Australian theatre companies.
