Brittany Gallasch is a Flinders Drama Centre graduate who specialises in voice over, motion capture, and acting for screen and theatre. Having currently completed a Master of Virtual Production, she aims to create motion capture content exploring unique character voices and physicalities. Winner of the Neil Curnow Award in 2023 by Helpmann Academy and Independent Arts Foundation, she went to London and trained with notable Mocap specialists like Paul-William Mawhinney and Ace Ruele. Whilst overseas, Brittany also honed physical-devising skills interning at Fourth Monkey, fuelling her passion to create new theatre. In 2024, Brittany secured a Helpmann Academy Creative Investment Fellowship grant. She is returning to London to formulate a business plan for her motion capture workshops, aiming to share this valuable skill with fellow artists in South Australia.
Brittany is a versatile screen actress, notably featured in the documentary 'The Last Daughter' and has made impactful contributions to local Adelaide short films like 'Longing for a goodbye' , 'Through a Daughter's Eyes,' and 'Off with A-,' During her time in the UK, she also starred in 'The Untimely Revenge of Waffle,' which is gaining recognition on the film festival circuit.
