Notes

AWARDS 2013 Nominated for Best Supporting Actor, London International Film Awards - Rubicon, or Lets Talk About Hell 2010 Won Best Film at New York International Film Awards - Baseline 1994 Nominated Best Actor, City of Newcastle Drama Awards, The Crucible 1992 Nominated Best Actor, City of Newcastle Drama Awards, The Venetian Twins BIO A skilled character actor, Brenden recently wrapped filming on Peter Duncan's (creator of Rake) new series for Porchlight Films/ABC playing an anti Semitic British nuclear scientist - set to be aired next year. And with a bit of "deep fakery" he has just completed a campaign for Clemenger playing "A Prominant Russian Leader". Hopefully, by the time of reading - he hasn't "disappeared." Brenden undertook formal acting training at East 15 in The UK, but also studied at The Actors Temple in London (Meisner) and The Atlantic Theater Co. in New York. By invitation, he undertook a month long masterclass at Sandord Meisner's personal residence on the Caribbean island of Bequia - where he additionally learnt to scuba dive. ;-) On stage in Sydney, Brenden portrayed real-life Kings Cross enforcer Jim Anderson in Hidden Sydney; a circus ringmaster (whose secretly a werewolf) in Big Fish at The Hayes and last year, he toured New Zealand in Cats as Deuteronomy. In London, he appeared in Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night for Company B plus Little Shop of Horrors and Return to the Forbidden Planet for Ovation. He also toured Europe extensively as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show.
