Beth Gyzen is an Adelaide-born actor based in Melbourne. Her early training began at age 15, traveling long distances from her hometown to attend acting classes, before she relocated to Melbourne in 2019 to study Media and Communications at RMIT University while continuing her acting practice. Her screen work includes the leading role of Emma Franklin in Daughterhood (Lily Drummond Films), as well as featured commercial roles in Adelaide for The Optical Superstore (Firebox Films) and the Electoral Commission SA (Zest Advertising). Prior to pursuing acting, Beth spent years training as a competitive swimmer at state and national levels. Now swimming casually, she channels the discipline, focus, and work ethic from her elite athletic background directly into her professional life and creative practice. ------------------------------- SKILLS: Competitive swimming (ages 9–16), state and national level competition.
