Notes

Bethany Whitmore is a warm, grounded and highly relatable screen actor with strong emotional intelligence and natural comedic timing. Her performances are natural, authentic and emotionally connected. She is best known for her lead role as Greta in Girl Asleep, for which she earned Best Actress nominations from the Film Critics Circle of Australia and the Australian Film Critics Association. She also appeared as Melissa in The Family Law, winning multiple MEAA Awards for Best Comedy Ensemble, and as Blanche in Picnic at Hanging Rock. Bethany made her feature debut in Mental, directed by PJ Hogan, and has worked across film, television and theatre from a young age, including The Starter Wife and voicing Mary in Mary and Max. A graduate of RADA, NIDA and 16th Street, she recently completed a Masters in Film & Television (Screen Producing) at the VCA.
