Notes

Ben Peters (he/him) is a versatile vocalist and performer who has recently returned to Australia following multiple contracts as a lead vocalist on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. A graduate of the Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre, Ben’s notable roles include Cry-Baby in Cry-Baby the Musical, JD in Heathers the Musical, and Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game. Ben has a strong background in many musical genres including classical, jazz, and contemporary through his training from various companies and institutions, most notably Opera Australia, Sydney Conservatorium, and Gondwana Choirs. This helped him achieve a perfect score in music extension during his HSC and receive an ‘Encore’ nomination. A quadruple threat, Ben is a skilled msucian on the saxophone and guitar as well as multiple woodwind instruments. Living with Tourette’s, Ben is a strong advocate for disabled representation on stage and screen. He also takes every opportunity he can to further his knowledge and experience.
