Tāne Poutu is a Māori/European actor based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. A graduate of Te Kura Toi Whakaari ō Aotearoa (The New Zealand Drama School), he made his feature‑film debut with a supporting role in JUNIPER (dir. Matthew Saville) and a guest role in WELLINGTON PARANORMAL. He's known as a relatable presenter on TVNZ youth current affairs programme IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, and stood out as core cast member 'Heps' in Seasons 1 & 2 of Sky Original NOT EVEN. Most recently he played lead 'Tomai' in ground-breaking conspiracy thriller KUPU X for Whakaata Māori & TikTok, and guest starred in BLUE MURDER MOTEL.
