Tāne Rolfe is a Māori/European actor based in Te Whanganui‑a‑Tara. A graduate of Te Kura Toi Whakaari ō Aotearoa (The New Zealand Drama School), he made his feature‑film debut with a supporting role in JUNIPER (dir. Matthew Saville) and followed with a part in WELLINGTON PARANORMAL (Season 3).
His subsequent film credits include the lead in the comedy‑horror BARBED WIRE CANOE, a principal role in the independent feature THE PEOPLE WE LOVE (released 2025), and an upcoming appearance in KŌKĀ. On television, he portrayed Ariki in AHIKĀROA and most recently completed Season 2 of the Sky Original series NOT EVEN as core cast member Heps.
In 2023, Tāne presented TVNZ’s youth news programme IN CASE YOU MISSED IT. He has just wrapped the forthcoming youth series KUPU X for Whakaata Māori and TikTok.
