Gerry trained extensively in acting at the Actors Centre & with the late Hayes Gordon in Sydney
Australia.
Some of the roles Gerry has played onstage, include a singing soprano drag queen, a street kid
and an evil cat to name a few.
Gerry had a featured small speaking role as a paranoid dancer in the film BELINDA for Fontana
Films.
He played a homeless larrikin in the UK comedy series ‘Alas Smith & Jones’.
Gerry was also a featured extra/dancer in the Australian mini series ALL THE RIVERS RUN.
He also played a villain opposite the late American legend screen & film actor/comedian Eddie
Bracken ( National Lampoon’s Vacation).

In 2005 Gerry created a Dance work called CLICKETY CLACK the Magical Sound of Tap which is a concept of combining the art of Tap dance with Magic & Illusion which opened the Australian Dance Awards at the Sydney Opera House
In 2007 Gerry was involved with the initial Australian auditions for Billy Elliot and was involved in taking Tap workshops with all the potential Billy’s & Michael’s prior to the show’s commencement & also trained the boys in Personal Fitness, Pilates training and Nutrition advice, during the Sydney rehearsal period.
