Art Elliot is a queer Melbourne-based actor who has always been obsessed with the arts and has been involved with as many creative, artsy and attention seeking ventures as possible since before he could recite a monologue. A 2022 graduate of Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, he has continued his training with companies such as TAFTA, Melbourne Shakespeare Company and private acting sessions. Making his theatre debute at Theatre Works 2024 season in Sweet Pea as the same named lead character, Sweet Pea. Art also has an interest in the creative, practical and storytelling aspects of behind the scenes as he has worked as a Technical Operator for multiple Adelaide/Melbourne Fringe Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival productions and has started writing his own films. He works to implement his unique perspective as a young transgender man into all levels of his acting and storytelling. Art continues to train and work to enhance his craft and gather as many skills as possible to not only be a well rounded performer, but to also be a well rounded human.
