ANDREW SLATTERY BIO: 2025 (SYDNEY BASED)
AUS Citizen. Actor MEAA.
Andrew Slattery was born near Albury, NSW, Australia, to Sue, a dedicated nurse, and Micheal, a hardworking cattle farmer. Raised on a sprawling 5000-acre station between Melbourne and Sydney, Andrew’s early years were shaped by the rhythms of rural life. From a young age, he balanced school with the demands of farm work, something that remained a constant until he turned seventeen. Even now, he continues to cherish those moments when he returns home, reconnecting with the land that laid the foundation for both his life and career.
After high school, Andrew worked bar jobs while laboring throughout the day, which helped support his next steps toward a career in acting. He later pursued his passion for performance, training under respected mentors such as Les Chantry and Damian Walsh-Howling in Melbourne and Sydney. His career spans both local and international productions, with standout roles in Channel 7’s Royal Flying Doctors as Jason O'Connor, as well as Stan's Underbelly Chopper (2018) and Netflix's The Cost (2022), a critically acclaimed crime drama.
With a powerful, physical presence and a relentless dedication to his craft, Andrew continues to challenge himself with diverse and demanding roles, solidifying his place among the top actors in both Australian and international cinema.
