Amy McCann is versatile theatre performer and graduate of both the Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Elder Conservatorium (ECMT) and TheatreBridge Pre-professional Program. With a beautiful soprano voice, Amy has recently completed the Australian Tour of Oz The Cirque Experience (DV Live) in the iconic role of Dorothy Gale.
Amy's other professional credits include Ariel in The Little Mermaid (HAMA), Heather Chandler in Heathers (HAMA), Ivy in Bare: A Pop Opera (Arise Productions), and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (HAMA). While at ECMT she performed as Princess Fiona in Shrek, Meg in Little Woman, and Mary Understudy in Jesus Christ Superstar. She also had the privilege of joining the chorus in Candide (State Theatre South Australia/State Opera South Australia).
Amy has also trained in screen acting and when not performing is undergoing her yoga teacher training.
