Alexandra (Ally) O’Brien is a New Zealand-born, Sydney-based actor currently in production as the lead in the upcoming feature film Butterfly Dreams (2027). In 2024, Ally won Best Actress at SF3 for her role in The Goat. Her recent stage work includes playing Olive in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and the award-winning Match of the Century (NZ & US Tour). On screen, she recently featured in a national campaign for Commonwealth Bank. Ally holds an Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen Acting from The Actors Conservatory and has furthered her training in Los Angeles under Michelle Danner and in Sydney with Sandra Lee Patterson.
