Originally from Cologne, Germany, Jonah worked as an actor on two feature films ‘Die Müttermafia’ and ‘1000 Arten den Regen zu beschreiben’. Jonah moved to Melbourne to study Acting at the Victorian College of the Arts where his theatre credits included Alfieri in ‘A View from the Bridge’ (dir. John Kachoyan), Dr. Faustus in ‘Doctor Faustus Lights the Lights’ (dir. Alyson Campbell) and Duncan, Witch and Doctor in ‘Macbeth’ (dir. Michael Kantor). He was also given the opportunity to be the lightwalker on Robert Wilsons ‘Lecture on Nothing’. Jonah developed his love for screen and voice over through his work on the interactive media project #itwasgreektome as well as staring in multiple short films including ‘Leo’ (dir. Cielo Croci) and ‘They Came From Above’ (dir. Lauren Paterson) In 2020, Jonah will be performing in DNA by Dennis Kelly at Chapel off Chapel as part of new theatre company Breath and Bones Theatre Co.
