Tiahli Martyn

Notes

Tiahli is a multidisciplinary performer from Tāmaki Makaurau. Having spent three years in the United Kingdom, completing a full-time programme in Dance and Performing Arts, she returned to New Zealand, where she has since immersed herself in the Kiwi industry. An experienced musical theatre performer, she has worked with New Zealand’s leading professional theatre companies, including The Court Theatre, Auckland Theatre Company, GMG Productions and Stetson Group. Most recently, she played Vanessa and understudied Abuela in The Court’s sold out summer season of Strictly Ballroom , before returning to Auckland to play Subbalaxmi in ATC’s and Agaram Productions’ critically acclaimed new play, a mixtape for maladies, by Ahi Karunaharan. Aside from being a performer, Tiahli also holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science conjoint degree in French, Spanish and Psychology. She often works as a choreographer, and has a keen interest in Sports Science, particularly in the way it relates to dance. She is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a proud member of Equity New Zealand.
