Notes

Tahlia Biggs, the latest actor to star in the powerful one-woman performance of ‘The 7 Stages of Grieving’ directed by Jada Alberts, produced by Brown’s Mart Theatre. Written by Deborah Mailman and Wesley Enoch in 1995. Tahlia’s debut theatre season in 2022, ‘Bungambrawatha’ directed by Elaine Crombie, co-produced by Black Border Theatre and HotHouse Theatre. A production that marked the 50th Anniversary of the NSW Aboriginal Resettlement Scheme. A proud Barkindji descendant with family connections to Ngiyampaa Wangapuwan, Tahlia was raised on Wiradjuri and Duduroa Country. Tahlia was a key cast member of The Black Border Theatre Ensemble. The First Nations youth ensemble created and performed politically charged comedy pieces with commentary on First Nations experiences. Tahlia finds roles such as MC, guest speaker and facilitator opportunities to create space for people to connect and reflect. Whilst in the early stages of her acting career, Tahlia draws from her multi-passionate drive and the diverse experiences and influences throughout her life grow into a multi-disciplined storyteller. Recently Tahlia has completed short courses: NIDA’s Screen Acting Techniques, Writing for Screen and Les Chantery’s 3-Day Film & TV Masterclass.
