Remi and the cast of Remnant won Best Acting Ensemble at the 2024 VIFF Film Festival in Italy. Within Australia, Remnant won Best Picture at the 2024 Melbourne Cineverse Film Festival. The actor is perfect for the everywoman type, described as having “a strong and engaging screen presence.” Remi has an incredible range of credentials, from feel-good comedy to heart-wrenching drama. Remi’s lead role in the gritty drama Sixteen Minutes (2022) earned her the Best Actor Award at the 2022 UC Film Awards. In 2021, the actor won the Most Memorable Performance Award for her role in the dark comedy Thanks for Coming (2021) at the Lights Canberra Action Film Festival. Remi has often been likened to a young Kate Winslet! The actor’s emotional performances are fuelled by an unwavering compassion that is undoubtedly her strong suit.
