Izabella Louk (she/her) is an actor, dancer, playwright and producer, living and working on Gadigal land. Izabella has trained and performed across Australia and the United States. She graduated from Drew University (NJ, USA) with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, and has also trained with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Tectonic Theater Project (NY), the Australian Theatre for Young People, and NIDA. Highlights from her time in the US include working with Tectonic Theater Project in New York to devise Stillwater an original play with music that premiered off-Broadway at the Helen Mills Theatre in New York, training and performing with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and interning with New York casting office Telsey+Company. On return to Australia, Izabella produced and performed in the wildly successful run of “Much Ado About Nothing” which sold out over a month prior to opening night and received rave reviews. In 2022, she was selected for ATYP’s prestigious writing development program Fresh Ink, and also recently had her short play “Fish Doof” published by Currency Press as a part of the anthology Intersection: Bloom.
