Oscar Ali is an Australian, South Asian actor who has worked in the industry for over a decade whose most prominent roles include performing as Macbeth in a comedic modern adaption of The Tragedy of Macbeth, Lead hosting the live kids show "Kangaroo Beach" and at just 11 years old starring in the short film Displaced. Oscar has received over eight years of training in screen and stage performance from NIDA graduates, including Contessa Treffone, as well as attending Newtown High School of the performing arts, engaging in the advanced drama courses. Recently, he has been working with AFTRS graduates on a short film project and has been invited to multiple script developments within the independent theatre scene. Oscar has a high level of proficiency in both Hip Hop and Tap dance styles, being part of a competitive dance team for five years and winning multiple competitions. He also has over 3 years of experience stage managing theatre productions, which has deeply expended his creative process when working on live productions. Oscar looks forward to not only bringing his acting, but his razor sharp comedic timing and zest for performing to major productions in the coming year.
