Willa King graduated from London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, with a joint honours degree from King's College London.
Willa's first love was, and is the stage. She has worked on a variety of projects including singing for audiences on Cunard's flagship Queen Mary II, Shakespeare at the Bristol Old Vic and produced a one-woman showcase in London.
Willa is primarily a character actor and is a passionate performer of Jacobean work. Characters include Lady Anne (Richard III), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing), Goneril (King Lear), and Hippolita ('Tis Pity She's a Whore).
Not content with the blood-soaked tragedies of the Jacobean period, Willa also has strong comedic skills with previous roles including, Mme Boniface in Hotel Paradiso, Natalya Stepanova in Chekhov's one-act play The Proposal, and Olive in Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple.
In 2016, Willa earned a Master's Degree in Film & Television Studies, graduating with Merit from the University of Bristol. Willa's writing includes an investigative study into the film industry during Australia's second wave of the 1970s and extensive research into women's contributions to cinema throughout the 20th century.
Willa is a keen traveller, cook, and historian. Willa's work includes theatre, film, voice-over, accent work and theatre production.
