Nicholas Jaquinot is an actor, screenwriter and producer. His breakout acting role came in the award winning theatre production of 'Yentl' at the Melbourne Art Centre in 2022, in the role of Avigdor. He reprised the role for two following seasons at the Malthouse Theatre and the Sydney Opera House in 2024. In 2023, he completed filming the feature horror film 'Lenore', in which he performed in the lead role as well as working as a producer on the film. In 2024, he successfully negotiated a deal with with UK based sales agents Moviehouse Entertainment to manage the international sales of 'Lenore.' Nicholas wrote, produced and acted in the short film 'Beautiful Smile', which had its world premier at the prestigious Austin Film Festival in 2024. It continued its successful festival run at other festivals such as Torino, Flickerfest and St Kilda. Nicholas also works as a screenwriter, having completed a masters degree in screenwriting at The Victorian College of the Arts in 2024 and working across several projects as a head writer, script editor and providing script coverage to distribution companies.
