Zara Goodman is a British-Australian actor, singer-songwriter, writer, and producer of mixed English and Papua New Guinean descent, based between Brisbane and Cairns, Australia. Zara began her film career during the height of COVID-19 as a bit-part/background actor and production assistant on two Jaggi Entertainment productions, and has since appeared in various Australian and international productions, working alongside Darren Gilshenan, Sam Neill, Annette Bening, and Claire van der Boom in her short career. Most recently, she worked with Hannah Grace Fulton and The General Public Productions on their new TikTok comedy series “Shin Splints,” funded through the Screen Queensland “Channel Lab: Short Cuts” initiative. Zara also releases music under artist name “Zara the Good,” including cover songs on her YouTube channel and streaming platforms, and is currently writing and producing her debut music album. She is a self-taught artist who has been producing acrylic paintings from the age of seven and is gradually making her work available for sale online. Additionally, Zara is in the process of setting up her own production company, having already created and written several projects, including a gothic comedy short film, Gen Z military sitcom, period murder mystery series, and YA fantasy drama series.
