Timmie moved to Auckland in 2015 to study at the prestigious Actors’ Program and has been busy ever since. Her breakout came in 2018 when cast as one of the leads ‘Ruby Savage’ in ‘The Gulf’, co-produced by Screentime/Lippy Pictures and ZDF Germany. Reviewed by The Spinoff as ‘a genuinely world-class crime drama’ she went on to film the second season late 2020. It has screened in Australia, the US, Germany and the UK. To local audiences, Timmie is best known as the much loved ‘Shereez Baker’ on New Zealand’s number one, longest running hospital drama, ‘Shortland Street’. Timmie has also worked on two TV series produced by Stephen David Entertainment in the US: ‘Roman Empire 2’ for Netflix and ‘Murder Is Forever’ penned by renowned author James Patterson for Discovery Channel.
