Notes
Miriama Smith's breakout role was in the cult fantasy classic XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS, and she has gone on to become powerful leading actress across genres in New Zealand and Australia. Miriama can be seen in Netflix mini-series THE SURVIVORS, Australia's DABY & JOAN S2, and leads comedy series DEAD AHEAD for TVNZ.
One of Miriama's most iconic roles was as ruthless CEO 'Brady Truebridge', the lead in "NZ's most expensive TV show", FILTHY RICH. Prior to this, Miriama had received the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2012 NZ Film & Television Awards for her "chillingly remarkable" portrayal of Delwyn Keefe, the widow of Napier gunman Jan Molennaar, in feature film SIEGE.
Alongside her busy acting career, Miriama is a trained yoga teacher and independent registered marriage celebrant. She lives in Waihi Beach in New Zealand, and when she's not filming or travelling, cherishes time spent with her son and dog.
