Millie Manning is a dynamic 27-year-old Māori/Pākehā actress based in Auckland, known for her compelling screen presence, versatility, and emotionally grounded performances. She recently captivated audiences in a major guest role on Shortland Street, portraying Marama Williams. Millie graduated from Unitec in 2021 with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, where she developed a strong foundation across theatre and screen performance. In 2020, she performed as part of the acclaimed Emilia on the iconic Pop-up Globe stage, directed by Miriama McDowell. The following year, she took on the leading role of Elinor Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility, directed by Shane Bosher, showcasing her ability to bring both emotional depth and strength to complex characters. Beyond acting, Millie has an accomplished background in both modelling and elite-level performance. In 2017, she was photographed by renowned New Zealand photographer Roberta Thornley for her project A Serious Girl. She also represented New Zealand in competitive artistic gymnastics, competing internationally in Singapore in 2014 and Hawaii in 2016.
