Maximillian Johnson is an up-and-coming Australian actor whose striking looks and boyish charm make him similar in type to the likes of Tom Holland, whilst bringing his own unique twist to every role he takes on. Max’s breakout moment came in the hit ABC/BBC series Dead Gorgeous (AFI and Logie Award nominated series), followed by his notable performance in Australian feature High Ground (AACTA Award nominated feature), where he starred alongside iconic talents like Jack Thompson and Simon Baker. Premiering at the Berlin International Film Festival, the film marked a major milestone in Max’s career, cementing his status as one of Australia’s most promising young stars. Constantly pushing himself into challenging roles, his upcoming projects include a lead role in the highly anticipated feature Fear Below from Bronte Pictures, a role in the hit Australian series Neighbours, and a lead role the action-packed Australian feature Beast of War, which is set for international release in 2025. After studying at the Victorian College of the Arts, he honed his craft at the Sixteenth Street Actors Studio, before taking the leap to New York City to study under the legendary Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio.
