In 2021 Matt studied at Brent Street, receiving their Diploma of Musical Theatre and shortly after began at Actors Centre Australia, Bachelor of Performing Arts (Stage and Screen) in 2022.
Since ceasing study, they directed In Pieces with UTS Backstage and Songs for a new world with Woods Ray Theatricals and are currently directing the Sydney Premiere of Spies are Forever with North Shore Theatre Company.
They became one half of the UTS team for the University Theatre Cup that created the infamous MegaSlay Megamix, proceeding to write the MegaSlay Cabaret, which will make its debut in Sydney Fringe 2023 alongside their new and upcoming written work 'Rumimate', by Matthew Dorahy and Claire Honeywood.
Matt has been working for the past 6 months as a live voice actor, live in person actor and Game Master at Next Level Escape, in which Matt has been able to tune their improv and stand-up comedy skills while creating a fun enjoyable environment as they take on a large handful of different roles each day.
Matt has also worked on choreographing intimacy coordination and fight combat, their previous work in this area includes Spring Awakening with UTS Backstage, Heathers the Musical and Bridges of Madison County with UNSW MTS, The Mad Ones and Freaky Friday with MACMS.
Matt’s most recent notable on-stage roles are ‘SpongeBob’ in the SpongeBob Musical, ‘Jason’ in Bare: A Pop Opera and ‘Marvin’ in Falsettos and 'Wayne Hopkins' in Puffs the Play.
