Notes

Kiriana is an actor, circus & stunt performer who has rapidly climbed the ranks as an emerging artist. She won the scholarship position into NZs prestigious acting school, The Actors Programme 2024, and completed advanced acting fundamentals at one of the most renowned schools globally: RADA in London 2023. Alongside her studies at TAP she booked a specialty performer contract on Spartacus: House of Ashur, working directly with the leads, and also worked on Netflix Production East Of Eden starring Florence Pugh. Kiriana is also a circus performer with the finest circus company in Aotearoa, The Dust Palace Circus Theatre Company, where she entertained at Pinks pre-concert during her Eden Park tour. Kiriana has helped to pioneer a new genre of Māori circus in the arts industry, as well as pushing circus into more unknown spaces, including ATC youth company, directing circus into theatre shows, performing as an opening act for the whole of Auckland Pride Festival ‘24 and becoming the inaugural winner of CNZ takatāpui Residency, making her own circus short film: “Shallow Waters” that screened for the whole of February in 2023. She also works as a kaiako and developer for Te Kura Maninirau: Māori circus school, which won PAYPA emerging artist/company award in 2024. Kiriana has Hawaiian & Samoan Ancestry in her lineage, and has worked on Polynesian Theatre Projects with experience performing Fale Aitu theatre.
