Her unique look allows her to play a variety of roles from South East Asian to East Asian. Kim brings emotional depth, beauty, wit and strength to her work, making her a captivating performer, particularly in psychologically complex roles. Among Kim's notable works are “Bay of Fires” (written by Andrew Knight, created by Marta Dusseldorp, AACTA nominated for Best Drama 2024), “Mother Tongue” (Best Cultural Diversity at Setting Sun Film Festival 2021, Best Next Gen Film at Melbourne Women in Film Festival 2021), “Drum Wave” (directed by Natalie Erika James, recognised for Young Director Award at Cannes 2018). Kim has also appeared in “Neighbours”, “Wentworth”, “Utopia” and “Secret Bridesmaids Business”. In addition, Kim has also published her first novel “July Seventeenth”, inspired by the tragic death of her friend on Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17. To hone her craft, Kim has trained under esteemed coaches in Los Angeles, including Howard Fine, David Coury, Marilyn McIntyre, Jean-Louis Rodrigue; and at the VCA Drama School in Melbourne.
