Theatrically trained, Kelly McRae has played roles ranging from human trafficking victim, Debbi in the gritty ‘Get Free’ 2023 film to the vivacious ‘Gloria’ in the theatre production of Wait Until Dark. At age 14, Kelly attended an audition for ‘The Celebrity Experience’ where she was selected to attend the Los Angeles training experience. She was directed and trained by industry professionals such as Jonathan Goldstein, Geno Segers, Matthew Timmons, Tyler Steelman, Hector David Jr. and Sammi Hanratty. One of her first acting experiences on camera was at the Universal Studios Lot, which is a dream for most actors. Returning from the States, she continued her acting training at Cronulla Arts Theatre and attended acting programs at The National Institute of Dramatic Art and CASPA. Kelly was a part of many different theatre productions at Arts Theatre Cronulla playing comedic roles in the plays ‘Balancing Act’, ‘Cash or Credit’ and ‘Virus’, but was also able to delve into more dramatic roles such as serial killer victim in ‘No Escape’ and the lead role of ‘Anne Frank’. Through this role in a live performance, she caught the eye of director Davo Hardy and was asked to play love interest Kirsty Dennison in the 2019 film ‘The Blood of God’. This introduction to film and the experience she gained led her to get the role of ‘Debbi’ in the 2023 ‘Get Free’ film directed by Daniel Widdowson, which is a groundbreaking movie that tackles the uncomfortable topic of human trafficking. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9130648/?ref_=nmfm_nmfm_nm Highly competent special skills: Soccer, Improvisation Social media handles: https://www.instagram.com/kellymcraee/ Visa's/Passports: Australian permanent citizen, Australian passport, Irish passport Authentic accents: Australian, American
