Kathryn Edmonds was a successful executive government lawyer of 15 years before proving herself to be an equally strong and versatile stage and screen actress. Not only has Kathryn carried numerous coveted musical theatre roles in large-scale regional productions (Donna/Mamma Mia!, Fantine/Les Miserables, Ulla/The Producers, Ellen/Miss Saigon, Winifred Banks/Mary Poppins), she also appears in short film (The Latch, 2020), numerous television and online commercials (Slim Right, Vegan Naturopathica, Ram Trucks Australia, Nikon Lenses Japan), corporate, voiceover and presenter roles, and print media campaigns (Clarendon Homes, Harris Scarfe, Maggie T, Holiday Trading Co). Kathryn completed a one-year acting diploma at NIDA straight out of high school (learning under some of Australia's leading stage, screen and Shakespearean teachers of the time) and, more recently, honed her professional skills through training with The Actor's Station, The Hub Studio and NIDA under the likes of local and international artists Les Chantery, Philip Quast, Mary Setrakian, and Anthony Skuse. Kathryn is also a successful model, singer (with a special interest in vocal cross-training and a versatile belt/legit range of D3-D6), performance art coach, and assistant director (Sunset Boulevard, RTC, 2018).
