Kalyani Nagarajan is a graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, a staff writer for Shortland Street, a prolific improviser, and an emerging filmmaker with her debut short Honey, I Ate the Kids. She creates sharp, character-driven comedy and drama for stage and screen, with original work including the commissioned series TADA and the co-written feature Road Trip with the Rajans with Eyes and Ears Productions. As an improviser, she performs with some of New Zealand’s top troupes and is part of the upcoming improvised podcast Don’t Be Sorry, Be Better. Kalyani is also launching SHIFT, a high-performance training company using improvisation to supercharge collaboration, adaptability, and creativity.
