- Jess is an actor, voice artist, intimacy coordinator, playwright, theatre producer and marriage celebrant from Naarm/Melbourne - Co-Artistic Director of independent theatre company Spinning Plates Co., whose 2023 production of The Crocodile won three Green Room Awards and sold out twice at fortyfivedownstairs. Their 2024 production of Rhinoceros was nominated for two Green Room Awards, and Jess's original play, Shut Up I'm a Vampire, was nominated for one in 2022 - Won the Art Unbound Award at Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2021 for her original show, JSMR: an ASMR & Storytelling Experience - Won Best Actor for the Howard Fine Performance Project for her short film, Jafar - Awarded an academic scholarship to study her Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University - Awarded Outstanding Year Level Achiever at Monash University following her work in August: Osage County - Completed the Full-Time Program at the Howard Fine Acting Studio, Australia, and has studied extensively at 16th Street - A trained intimacy coordinator, having studied with Key Intimate Scenes, Australia - Also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) from Swinburne University and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider - Works as a marriage celebrant and audiobook narrator when she's not performing - Screen credits include feature film Ancestry Road (2025), The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Glitch, and various short films - Stage credits include Rhinoceros (fortyfivedownstairs, 2024), The Crocodile (fortyfivedownstairs, 2023), Medea (Victorian tour, 2025), The Crucible (Victorian tour, 2019-24), Shut Up I’m a Vampire (Butterfly Club, 2022), Ross & Rachel (Theatre Works, 2018), Ménage (Melbourne Fringe 2016) Extinction (Victorian tour, 2019-22), and It's Alright, Sid it's Alright (La Mama, 2013)
