Jess Ciancio is an Australian Actor and Comedian. Growing up in an Italian migrant family she was split between two cultures, from which she draws much of her comedic inspiration.
Her recent work includes the role of Erin in the 2024 MIFF Film The Organist. Sigrid, in the Screen Australia web series The Followers (2023) and Crystal Drinkwater in the Sportsbet Elite Average Games series (2024).
In 2021 she received a 'Best Female Performer' nomination at the London International Web and Shorts Festival for her comedy web series "Hot Skinny Latte", which she wrote and produced alongside adjacent short-form comedy videos that have amassed over 250 million views.
Jess is a founding member of Melbourne-based production company Weird Neighbour whose debut feature The Organist was part of the 2024 MIFF official lineup. She is fluent in Italian, holds EU and Australian passports and is working towards grading as a Provisional Stunt Actor in 2024.
