Originally from Port Stephens and a born performer from day one, James moved to Sydney in order to cement his dreams and pursue a career in acting. A recent graduate of Actors Centre Australia's 2024 Bachelor of Performing Arts degree, James has deeply experimented with range and played a wide variety of roles, from his ACA days appearing as Romeo in ‘Romeo & Juliet’, Gerry Evans in ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’, Wesley in ‘Jerusalem’, Biff in ‘Death of a Salesman’ and Lane/Merriman in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ among others, to his most recent work appearing as Henry Newlove & Arthur Somerset in ‘The Flea’ (Patrick Kennedy Theatre Machine) as well as having a brief appearance in the short film ‘Locked In’ (dir. Stephanie Pringle). James is a passionate, raw performer who brings attention, detail and care to every role, no matter how great or small.
