Holly Shervey is an actress, writer, and creator from Aotearoa New Zealand whose work blends dark humour with emotional honesty. Her upcoming series Crackhead — produced with Warner Bros and set for release in 2026 — marks a bold new voice in television: a raw, darkly funny exploration of addiction, survival, and the absurdity of self-destruction. Holly leads the series as Frankie, a chaotic yet magnetic addict navigating rehab’s twisted underbelly, with production wrapping earlier this year. On screen, Holly’s work spans both local and international productions, including the creature feature The Tank (Apple TV) and Amazon Prime’s American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story. In New Zealand, she’s appeared in acclaimed series such as Head High, Double Parked, and the upcoming Bust Up, along with guest roles in The Brokenwood Mysteries, Ahikāroa, and Vince. As a writer-creator, she has produced over 100 episodes of original work, building a slate of bold female-led stories across comedy and drama. Currently, she’s developing a trans-Tasman psychological thriller and a broadcast adaptation of her viral comedy Millennial Jenny — continuing her signature exploration of flawed, funny, and fearlessly human women.
