Romy Turner is an Australian actor, based in New York and Sydney. She recently starred in the Off-Broadway re-imaging of Mary Shelly’s gothic classic, The Frankenstein Project, in the leading role of The Monster. She was also recently in the world premier of The Duchess of LES, off-broadway, directed by Emmy award winning writer Randy Simon and stars in the award winning short film, Best Man, as Jane. Romy can also be seen in the independent drama The Last Goodbye, with Michelle Twarowska. After being cast in a school play, collaborating with friends on some short films and discovering her natural talent for acting, Turner took the chance to study at some of the most prestigious acting institutes across the world. Since then, she's ridden the wave of self-created opportunities and hard work, turning it into an auspicious acting career, being seen across screens big and small as well as on stages across the world.
